Are there deer hunting locations near Las Vegas?

   I don’t know but, maybe, the Mt Charleston wilderness area -Toiyabe National Forest.

   Absolutely!!! There are hunting units all over the place by and near Las Vegas. Depending on how far you are willing to go, some of, if not THE best hunting in the entire state is relatively close to Vegas. The Nevada Dept. of Wildlife has a complete list of hunting areas and they even give tips on every specific area in the state. I used to live in Vegas and the biggest deer I have ever seen, I saw just outside Vegas while hiking. I now live up in northern Nevada. Anyway here are some great links for you.
