How many deer hunting (Bow) tags are you allowed in a year in Illinois?

If you get a deer can you go to Walmart and get more buck and doe tags? It there a limit to how many deer you can take in one year?

    Theres no limit, i usually only take a 2 or 3 a year but i have friends who will shoot 7 or 8

    You are unlimited in the amount of tags you can get but remember. You can only take 2 bucks per year in Illinois regardless of how many tags you have! This includes all seasons including gun seasons. Once you have taken 2 bucks you can only take antlerless deer with any remaining tags. You can find out more info at the Illinois Dept of Natural Resources website!!
