I totaly agree with H make everybody kill there own food and prepare it by themselfs….. hunting is CHOICE or away of life if they dont want to hunt so be it but leave me alone………….. And everything will be ok ……….You know the only reason there are (vee-gen) men is because they gave up their rights to be men..
theyed reather go get their eyebrow’s waxed or a manacure and the gals i’d say yeah bambi and all the other talking animal movies…………. HOLLYWOOD is as anti hunter as you can get there were a few differnet actors that where hunters and they got blackballed its true………………..

I **** deer hunting. I think that it is wrong and cruel. I am a Vegetarian. You can do without the meat! Old people are just going to die and rot . Would you like to start hunting them down and eating them too.? You would not have to get up so early. We could just yank them right out of the nursing home and save taxpayers money.

Why do people **** deer hunting? Some misguided ideas about food gathering. More than half of these bleeding-hearts have no qualms about shopping Mickey D’s or the Colonel for their intake of protein. They forget that helpless animals are herded into slaughterhouses so that they can get their protein intake without being offended. They forget where their leather shoes, belts, etc. come from. Personally I think we should stop the cruel practice of herding domesticated animals into slaughterhouse and we should just let everyone fend for himself. Then we would see how well the non-hunters would fare. LOL!

I don’t have anything against deer hunting, but I don’t want to do it, myself. I don’t like getting up really early in the morning to go sit out in the cold, and wait for deer to walk by so I can shoot it. I hunt lots of other stuff, just not deer. Also, I don’t like the way deer meat tastes. If it’s made into jerky, or summer sausage, it’s ok, but when it’s ground up, or made into steaks, I don’t like it. I think the people who actually do have something against deer hunting aren’t too bright. They would rather have deer become overpopulated, and then starve to death, rather than see someone shoot the “poor little, defenseless creature”.

I love it too. I can’t stand the people that do waste the deer. The people that **** deer hunting are those that are vegetarians, animal lovers, or uneducated in the reason of hunting. And really, everyone should know deer can’t shoot guns because they don’t have thumbs.

I think its more that people do not understand the basics of hunting. They only hear the spotting and shooting of deer stories and they base their opinions on that. But as many hunters and myself its much more than that. Hunting in some ways is a way of life, such as living off the land. The hunter knew the land and respected it because of the food it provided the hunter with. Now with that said non hunters do not hear the parts where a hunter was outdoors all day taking in the vast beauty of that land. Or how they sat in the tree stand all day listening to the birds or how they saw a family of racoons or what not. The non hunters just hear the about the shooting and sometimes unethical hunting stories that bother them and decide they don’t like hunting.. The problem is they just don’t know the entire truth of hunting as its a great management technque, and it connects people to the environment many times in the form of conservation groups because they the hunters know there is a need to conserve our resouces and they have a stake in the protecton of our natural reasources. What hunters need to do is tell their hunting stories in a broader sense including the parts that we take for granted and leave out of the story.

I can honestly say that my biggest arguement about deer hunting is that people have stopped hunting the deer and started hunting the horns. If i had 2 deer within range, (deer 1) a 6 point that weighs about 300 lbs on the hoof (deer 2) a 12 point that weighs about 180 on the hoof – deer 1 is going down I want the meat because antler stew is not very filling.
I have know quite a few so called deer hunters who would let monsters as far as weight goes walk by because they were only 6 pointers.
The hatred of deer hunters comes from all the publicity of how many Pope & Young points or Boone & Crocket points you scored on your buck.
Give the horns a break, hunt for the meat!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Do you go “deer hunting” or “deer shooting”? Very few actually hunt anymore, it’s more like baiting, beating the bush, hounds, or sitting in a stand waiting for a deer to come within range. Venison will never take the place of pork chops, filet mignon, or even a good hamburger. I have nothing against hunting or shooting for food, but I would rather view a live wild animal than a dead one (even a coyote). Most people could not kill a deer because of their beauty, they don’t really “hate” to go hunting.
